Hound Performance Studio
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Effective date: 20 July 2026
This policy explains cancellation, renewal, refunds and failed payments for recurring monthly Memberships purchased from HOUND PERFORMANCE LTD trading as Hound Performance Studio.
Day Passes and Week Passes are separate products and should be governed by their own product terms.
1. Payments through Stripe
Stripe processes checkout, recurring payments, payment card information, refunds and subscription status. The Company does not store full payment card details.
Refunds, where due, are normally returned through Stripe to the original payment method. Processing times depend on Stripe, the card network and your bank.
2. Recurring monthly Membership
Membership renews automatically each month until cancelled. The renewal date is shown in your Stripe subscription or checkout confirmation.
If you intend to use the Studio for only one month, cancel promptly after purchase. Cancellation can be scheduled to take effect at the end of the current paid period.
3. How to cancel
You may cancel through the Stripe customer portal or cancellation link, where available. You may also request cancellation by emailing the Company.
A cancellation request should identify the Member and the email address linked to Stripe. Cancellation is effective when it is recorded in Stripe or confirmed by the Company.
Submit the request before the next billing date. A payment already initiated before cancellation may still be collected. If this happens because the Company did not process a timely and identifiable request, contact the Company for review.
4. Effect of ordinary cancellation
Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless the law requires otherwise, it does not refund the current billing period.
Access normally continues until the end of the paid period. Access may end earlier if Membership is terminated for a serious policy breach or if a refund is issued for the remaining period.
5. Statutory 14-day cancellation right
Where you purchase Membership online or through another distance method as a consumer, you will normally have 14 days from the day after the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, send a clear cancellation statement by email or use the Stripe cancellation method. You may use the following wording: "I give notice that I cancel my monthly Membership contract. My name is [name], my Stripe email is [email], and the contract was made on [date]."
The Company will refund sums due within the period required by law, normally within 14 days after being informed of the cancellation.
6. Immediate access during the cancellation period
If you ask the Company to activate access before the 14-day cancellation period ends, you expressly request that the service begins during that period.
If you then cancel within the 14-day period, the Company may deduct or charge a proportionate amount for access and services supplied up to the time of cancellation, where the law permits.
Your cancellation right is not lost merely because access has begun. The right may be lost only where the service has been fully performed within the cancellation period with the consent and acknowledgement required by law.
7. Refunds after the statutory cancellation period
After any statutory cancellation period has ended, Membership payments are not normally refundable.
No refund or credit is normally due for missed bookings, unused access, non-attendance, holidays, personal schedule changes, failure to cancel, or inability to use the Studio for reasons personal to you.
This does not affect your rights where the service is not provided with reasonable care and skill, is materially different from what was agreed, or another legal remedy applies.
8. Studio closures and service failure
Short closures for maintenance, cleaning, repair, safety or events outside reasonable control do not normally create a refund entitlement.
If a substantial closure prevents access for a material part of the paid period, the Company may offer an extension, credit or proportionate refund. This does not limit any remedy required by law.
9. Cancellation or termination by the Company
The Company may cancel a Membership for operational reasons by giving reasonable notice and refunding any prepaid period that will not be supplied.
The Company may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, code sharing, unauthorised access, unsafe conduct or another serious breach. A refund may be refused for the remaining period where that outcome is fair, proportionate and lawful.
10. Failed payments
If payment fails, Stripe may retry the charge and send reminders. The Company may suspend access until the outstanding amount is paid.
You remain responsible for charges properly due before cancellation. The Company will not impose an undisclosed penalty for a failed payment.
11. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Contact the Company before raising a chargeback so the issue can be investigated. A chargeback does not automatically cancel the Membership or remove liability for a valid amount due.
The Company may suspend access while a chargeback or suspected payment fraud is investigated.
12. Price changes
The Company may change the monthly price by giving reasonable advance notice. The new price will apply from a future renewal date. You may cancel before that renewal if you do not accept the change.
13. Complaints and contact
Cancellation, refund and payment questions should be sent to info@houndperformance.com.
Include your name, Stripe email, payment date, amount and a concise explanation of the issue.
